Import Vehicle Community Sponsorship Strategy

The Global Association hired me to lead the sponsorship and communications strategy for the 2020 AAPEX (trade-only event for the automotive aftermarket). It was a fantastic opportunity to provide more value for AAPEX and the sponsors that desired to get in front of a new audience of potential clients. I was able to completely revamp the sponsorship packages, outreach strategy, and offerings for past and potential sponsors.

Sadly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and related governmental prohibitions and restrictions on gatherings, businesses, and travel AAPEX was a virtual/digital experience, and many of the sponsorship strategies we had in place had to be edited for this first-ever virtual/digital event.

 
 

Additional tasks included:

  • Executive scriptwriting for the Chairman to Partners

  • Updated digital visualizations for members and event attendees

  • Ideating on new ways to reach sponsors outside of the automotive aftermarket
