Four Seasons Golden Triangle Thailand Marketing Strategy

I was hired by the Four Seasons franchise owner, who operated all three properties in Thailand. The Tented Camp was located in the Golden Triangle in Northern Thailand. This property has partnered with the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation, and they have rescued and adopted more than 20 elephants from Thailand’s crowded city streets to help them lead happy lives in a natural jungle.

It was phenomenal to visit this property to strategize better how they could attract the right market. The assets for this property, including photography, were to be used for communications, press, social media, and internal reporting.

Additional tasks included:

  • Visiting and staying at the Tented Camp Mekong Tent

  • Experiencing the local Thai dining culture and traditional herbal remedies

  • Working with the elephant caregivers (mahouts) to learn more about the unique offering of this property
