Anantara Golden Triangle Thailand Marketing Strategy
It is called The Golden Triangle because it is where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar converge, and it was also one of the largest opium-producing areas of the world. It has since been cleaned up, especially on the Thai side, and it is now home to lush resorts such as Anantara Golden Triangle Resort, which also has an Elephant Camp. Anantara is tucked into 160 acres of ancient jungle in northern Thailand. The Resort rests on a bluff overlooking the fabled convergence of two rivers and three countries.
It was a beautiful experience working with this property to capture all it offers to guests. As a Virtuoso travel planner with an interested client, getting hands-on experience and understanding of the destination was crucial.
Additional tasks included:
Visiting and staying at the Resort
Experiencing the Elephant Camp and spending time with the staff
Delivering photography and video assets
Working with local staff to ensure capturing the unique aspects of the property
