Covid Virtual Film Release Sponsorship Strategy

Champions of the Mic is a film that pays homage to artists who have used their platform to speak about issues that have affected the world. The film balances interviews and artists' performances in a concert setting. I was hired to create a one-pager and strategy for reaching out to potential film sponsors, which was released for streaming through a cloud-based video platform powered by IBM Watson AI.

 
 

Sadly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic financial constraints by the production company, the outreach strategy wasn't implemented until two years later.

Additional tasks included:

  • Social Media promotion with tags, posts, and mentions

  • Researching and Branding of the target market

  • Ideating on new ways to reach sponsors outside of the reggae market
